🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT: MEN'S HEAD COACH EOI OPEN NOW 🚨 After a successful 2021/22 season, our men's squad is on the rise and is ready for an amazing new Head Coach to come in and drive us forward into the future. With an increase in our list depth over the past couple of seasons and a junior boy's talent pathway that continues to produce quality people and cricketers, now is the right time to take the helm at Melville. If you are a coach with quality experience playing, coaching or teaching in the game of cricket, we want you to apply. We are looking to conduct a robust recruitment process, with the vision of securing a coach who not only has the tools, but also the philosophy to match the MCC vision, to help drive our Men's squad forward. As a leading club for Men and Women's Premier Cricket in WA, with a quality coaching line up across our Men and Women's squads, we look forward to welcoming a new head coach to further strengthen our coaching ranks. If this sounds like you or someone you know, see the images for more information on how to apply. Applications close by 6pm AWST Friday 3rd June 2022. ... See MoreSee Less

It is with sadness and disappointment that we announce that DT (David Taylor) has resigned from his position as Senior Men's Head Coach. This decision has not been made lightly as everyone knows how much he loved the club and working with everyone. David's health has taken a turn for the worse lately and the pressures of this and all the travel has taken a toll on him. Wisely, David has decided to put his health and family first.DT's had two great years as head coach and in that time he has put a strong imprint onto the culture at Melville Cricket Club. He came with great enthusiasm and drive for the role and at times went above and beyond of what was required.DT would travel back and forth from Joondalup multiple times per week for training and games. Sometimes he would go above and beyond to get to training early to assist our juniors and female teams. There is no doubt we got full value for his time as coach. This year we had a strong season under his watch, winning the Premier T20 and 3rd Grade premierships but also as a club finishing 2nd in the Club Championship. Watching the fielding sessions on a training night at Tompkins, you witness the enthusiasm and fun he brought to training. His legacy is assured and he leaves us in a better place moving forward. As a club we can't thank him enough for the past two years. We wish him the very best in combating the health problems that he has to continue to fight. On behalf of Melville Cricket Club we thank him for all the effort and skill he has given us and wish him, Deborah and the family all the best for the future. 💙⚡️ #ourpeople #oneclub ...
